The Kentucky Education Association lobbies on behalf of its 41,000+ members on issues affecting children and public education.

Our Legislative goal:

To provide the necessary funding for education to ensure that future generations of Kentuckians have the quality education they need to succeed.

To meet this goal, the objectives are to:

  • Provide equitable and adequate funding required to advance the ambitious education reform initiative passed by the General Assembly.
  • Provide adequate school employee compensation to guarantee the attraction and retention of the finest teachers and education.
  • Support professionals to work with our children.

  • Provide quality affordable health insurance for our public school employees.
